How spill resistant are the mousepads?

How do I clean my Marvelous mousepad?

Please be aware that our mats are spill resistant and not fully waterproof. Cleaning them may compromise the water-resistant agent the mats are finished with during production. With that said, we had great success cleaning our mats with a small amount of clean water, soap, and a clean toothbrush. Lightly scrub the stain with soap, then dab the soap out with water using a clean towel. Let the spot dry and get back to using your Marvelous mousepad.
